| This July 1997 submission, produced jointly by the Campaign and Liberty, was made to the European Court of Human Rights in support of a case brought against by nuclear test veterans. They argued that secrecy had prevented them obtaining compensation for damage to their health caused by nuclear testing in the 1950s. The submission deals with the UK's public records system, legislation on access to medical records and international standards on access to information. |
